Auras are fields of energy which radiates outwardly from the Chakras. Every person, place, and object emits this metaphysical energy. It is why some people’s homes feel so welcoming, and why some people make you feel uneasy for no apparent reason.
Not only can auras be felt, but many people are able to perceive them, visually and psychically.
Everything has an aura; from your dog or cat, to your town or city.
When you enjoy spending time with a person, or in a particular location, it’s not just because they’re good fun. Each person’s energy field resonates on a particular frequency, similar to emitting a sound. When your personal energy vibrates on a similar frequency, your auras complement each other, or act in harmony with one another.
Of course, energy is not static. People and environments change over time, as do the energy fields which one emits. That’s why two people who get along so well in the beginning can drift apart over the years. It’s not just because their opinions and beliefs change; their spiritual vibrations also change at different times and rates.
The meanings of aura colors can vary depending on who you talk to. Because auras are generated from the Chakras, thier associations can be most easily understood by understanding their connection to each of these subtle energy centers.
Depending on the school of thought, even the colors associated with the Chakras can vary. In my experience, the Chakra colors are broken down the same way a beam of white light is dispersed through a prism.
Thus, one’s aura color can be described as the radiant energy of the Chakras; the meaning of each can be gleaned based on the associated Chakra.
The color of your aura changes all the time depending on the respective states of your mind, body, emotions, and spirit. For example, when you are in a tense survival situation, you are more likely to have a red aura, whereas if you are engaged in meditation, you are more likely to radiate blue, violet, or white.
Layers of the Aura
Each layer of your aura surrounds you like an eggshell, with the higher frequency layers closer to your spiritual center. Thus, from the individual’s perspective, the closest layer you would see would be violet, then blue, then green, etc.
However, from the perspective on the clairvoyant onlooker, the higher frequency layers would appear to be in reverse. This is because the lower vibrational layers are thinner.
For example, the layer associated with the Root Chakra is your energetic connection to the material world. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the seventh layer, which is associated with your Crown Chakra, is the layer that resonates on a divine, multidimensional or infinite level.
